Olive oil is obtained from the fruit of the olive tree, an age-long evergreen tree, cultivated by the Greeks for more than 4000 years. The amphora was a ceramic pot used for storing the renowned Greek olive oil, widely known for its moisturizing, nourishing and antioxidant properties.
