In the Thrace territory every village or area has its own variation in men's costumes but they are based in similar garments such as the typical wide trousers ''potouri'', the elder inhabitants in Thrace still wear. The costume consists of the ''potouri'' trousers from blue fabric, the white cotton shirt with narrow sleeves, the long sash, a dark red wool sleeveless vest and hat.
