A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, she's worked with top chefs in New York, Napa Valley, San Francisco and France, and studied with two of France's three-star Michelin chefs.

Cat Cora was raised in a small Greek-American community in Jackson, Mississippi, where she Learned to love both her Southern and Greek heritages, especially the food. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Cat has worked with such notable chefs as Anne Rosenzweig and Larry Forgione, as well as in France with 3-star Michelin chefs Georges Blanc and Roger Verge. After stints at several restaurants, Cat was chef de cuisine at Napa Valley's Bistro Don Giovanni and went on to be executive chef and partner of Postino in Lafayette, California. Cat is regularly featured on the Fine Living Network and on the Food Network. She has written a column for the Contra Costa Times called "Cooking from the Hip" and teaches cooking classes all over the Bay Area. She lives with her family in Northern California.
