Unlike the Cats of Cairo, these cats are not revered by the human residents of the Greek islands, but merely tolerated. They are not allowed inside homes, but must compete for food and struggle to find shelter in the cold winters. You won't see the hardship in this book, though. You'll only see the dignity and grace of the cats, as seen through the camera lens powered by the love Silvester holds for them.
